About Edwin B. Peacock IIIEdwin Peacock III brings to the marketplace a unique blend of family history in the industry, an 18 year career in sales, and a commitment to his community as an elected official/public servant. Edwin’s father, Ed Peacock, Jr., established The Pomfret Financial Company in 1975. Ed’s 35 + years in the industry as a specialist in the design and administration of insured, non-qualified benefit programs propelled him to a level of success only achieved by a select few in the industry. Both Edwin and his brother David (Northwestern Mutual, Dallas Texas) have followed in their father’s footsteps to build successful practices of their own.
Edwin’s career as a sales professional began in the mortgage industry in 1992 in the Washington DC area. In 2000, he transitioned into the insurance and financial services industry and in 2003 returned to his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Edwin Peacock has a strong commitment to his community. In 2007, Edwin was elected to the Charlotte City Council as an At-Large Member. He is currently serving in his second term. He currently Chairs the city’s Environmental Committee and serves on the Budget & Community Safety committees. Edwin is also a Rotarian and serves on a number of area boards.
Edwin Peacock attributes his success to his family. “I’ve been so fortunate to have two incredible parents, an amazing wife, and the two most adorable children. God has truly blessed my life! I consider myself very lucky to have found such a richly rewarding career of helping others”, says Edwin.
